Today I participated in this week's Color Challenge over at Splitcoast Stampers. The callenge was to create a card using Pacific Point, Garden Green and Baja Breeze which are all Stampin' Up! colors. I always find it challenging to use greens and blues together for some reason, but instantly thought of my hydrangea stamp, but needed a bit more inspiration. So that's when I found this card, so I decided to CASE it because it incorporated one of my favorite stamps and would give me the opportunity to use my new Top Note die for the first time. This was definitely a challenge for me! Here's my card:
Ingredients
Stamps: Hydrangea(Delta), sentiment (SU! Upsy Daisy)
Paper: blue(Hero Arts), Garden Green, Whisper White(SU!)
Ink: black(Memento), markers(Copic), Not Quite Navy and Baja Breeze(SU!)
Accessories: Top Note die(SU!), ribbon(local supply), brad(Basic Grey), button(my stash), pearl stickers(Mark Richards)
