Creatively Cute Bloggers First Challenge

I'm happy to report that we are really coming together as a group! We decided on a name, we have a new group forum on SCS AND {drumroll....} today we posted our first challenge!!
This week's challenge was hosted by Molly. Here's what she had to say and a picture of my challenge card:

CHALLENGE #1
Getting To Know You ~ This should be easy - RIGHT??
Post a card that is about you....What colors do you love? What is your style? What is your type of stamp? Favorite Embellishment?
Post one or maybe you have multiple personalities to post!
The challenge starts now and you have until March 5th (Thursday) to get it posted to your blog and the gallery...
You must vote by March 10th (Tuesday) to me via PM (MollyDR is SCS username)
Winner is announced on the 11th (Wednesday)
A Super Great Prize Is Available!
GET CREATING LADIES!!

I made this card tonight and felt it really represented me for a couple of reasons. First, it's one of my favorite layouts. I use it ALL the time when I need a jumping off point for a card and this is usually quite often. I call it the 2 layers of background, image on top, sentiment lower right, topped off with an embellie or 2 layout! It gets me through!
Secondly, it features party chicks and I am just that: a happy, dancing, party chick!
Hope you like it!

Even if you are not a Creatively Cute blogger you can still particiapte in this fun challenge by creating a "you" card and uploading to SCS using keyword CCB01.

Fun, fun, fun!

  4. Wow! You are fast with the challenge. I haven't figured out what I am going to do yet. But I am sure it will involve watercoloring and either High Hopes or Whiff of Joy stamps.
I love the fun paper, the layout and those cute chickens! Great job with the challenge.
