April Showers Bring May Flowers!

Hello Everyone! I'm so excited to show you this new release from Chi Chi Memories called Rainy Days.
I told you you were going to love it. Don't you love it?
I think it's the special little details that make this image great: the cutie little bear in the pocket, the flower on her boots, all the little splashes of raindrops. Can you believe this image retails for only $1.99? Love it even more now?
Make sure you stop by the Chi Chi Memories site to pick up this image and why not throw a few more in your cart. At that price, why not?

I colored my image with Copic markers and enhanced with my white gel pen and some glittery Stickles to make the splashes POP. I used Jen del Muro's Sketch For You To Try from 4/10/2010 and paired it with these FANTASTICALLY coordinating papers from the Good Neighbors paper pad from Stampin' Up, which I didn't plan but was a happy surprise when I found them. This card is also for the Digital Tuesday Challenge #55. The theme this week is April Flowers or April Showers. Funny how the Chi Chi Release this week just fit so perfectly!
I added a few special details of my own....if you look closely you will see my image is mounted on a split-colored circle. I couldn't decide which color to mount my focal image on, so I used both! I also like the little vellum heart with the threaded Aqua Mist button and the paper piercing!
Per my usual these days, I computer created my sentiment to custom fit my needs. I really like the font I used here. It's called "Annie BTN" and I'm pretty sure I downloaded it for free.
I would also like to take a minute to welcome two new members to the Chi Chi Memories Design Team; Kerry and Lorraine. Please click on their names and take a minute to check out their fabulous work! I can't wait to get designing with them!
Also new this week at Chi Chi Memories..... A CHALLENGE! Ta Da! The new challenges will begin on Thursday so be sure to stop by the BLOG and upload your creations to the new community forum. Have you checked it out yet?
Alrighty! Have a fabulous day!
