It's a very exicitng week at the Color Throwdown Challenge! Our sponsor this week is none other than Chicken Girl Designs!! So the teams' special challenge is to use a Chicken Girl Designs image AND Kristin's beautiful colors for CTD94 this week...and here they are:
For those of you who may not already be familiar or a fan, Chicken Girl Designs are designed by Jannie Ho, a world renowned children's book illustrator. Isn't that cool? I thought I would feature her fabulous Money Around image. I LOVE IT and that sentiment with is great! If you love it as much as I do, head on over to I {Heart} Papers where Chicken Girl Designs are exclusively sold to pick up your copy for only $2.50!
I started my design by coloring my image with Copic markers, layering it on saffron and tangerine card stock and baja large scallop circle. THEN, I found this fabulous designer paper at Marshall's (of all places). Now, I know a little cherry popped in there, (how'd that get there??)but I really loved this striped and glitter embellished paper. I had to use it!!! My layout is this week's Taylored Expressions sketch challenge, TESC114. Don't you love it? I will use this one again and again!! I used two pieces of Stampin' Up! ribbon to make that under layer.
Well, make sure to head on over the the Color Throwdown blog and upload your color challenge cards. I can't WAIT to see what your designs! Chicken Girl is will be giving away 6 images to one lucky winner who participates in the challenge this week!!! Yahooooo!
