More Fun & Cute with Chicken Girl

Here's a little fun and cute card I made over the weekend (I got some much needed stamping time in on Saturday!) using a really cute stamp set from Chicken Girl Designs called Into the Forest. Even though I know I don't stand an ice cube's chance on a hot day, I'm still going to link my work that fits the categories between now and the deadline. WHY NOT, RIGHT?!

I started with this Wood grain patterned paper from A Muse and thought it would be really fun paired with images from this stamp set. I stamped my images in a scene in brown ink and colored them with Copics adding in some red brads as apples on my tree. I cut out my scene using my Top Note die from SU!, trimmed the edges and made a mat layer using my Ledger Pad paper from Making Memories. I added in a ribbon, twine, button and a sentiment and called it done. Oh but I did add in a little grass stamp and cloud stamp too! They are also from Chicken Girl designs, but from a set called Hugs from A Bug. This set is on sale too! Check it out HERE.
