It's Wednesday and I'm Late!

So I'm a little late to the party today! I got my card for today done yesterday during *quiet time* and was planning to post through dinner as I was going out last night to celebrate a friends birthday with drinks...and then the Internet went down! Need I say more? This is just so typical of my luck these days AND I'm still on my loaner laptop.
Anywhoo! The Color Throwdown is today and we have some really great colors for you today...check em' out!

At first I had no idea what I was going to do, but it just kind of came together, although, my picture isn't as nice as the card is in person! Here it is:
I started with a Razzleberry panel which I heat embossed with white ep using the Delightful Dahlia set from Papertrey Ink. I layered it on some Pink Pirouette and then on a Basic Grey panel which I textured with the lattice(?) texture plate also from PTI.

And see my Sentiment Flag?? :) I managed to sneak in another peek at my new stamp set and die called Sentiment Flags which you can read more about as you scroll throughout my blog here and also HERE at my store page. I die cut my flag from Pink Pirouette card stock then I stamped the solid border from my set, but opted to use the coordinating sentiment from Delightful Dahlia. Then I stitched it into place on my sewing machine. It's SOOO nice that this set and die will work with SO many of the sentiments you already have! More bang for your buck, I say!

Well, in the interest of getting this post live, I'm going to call it done. Please stop by the Color Throwdown blog to visit the creative designs from the team and to post your creations using today's colors!

Thanks for stopping by and have a fabulous day!
