I'm Sponsoring the Color Throwdown Today!!!

Happy Wednesday! My wonderful friends at the Color Throwdown Challenge are FABULOUS and agreed to let Lil' Inker Designs (me) sponsor today's challenge!! So in addition to using the awesome colors today, each of the design team members and our new guestie, Carla Suto, is using the very first product I designed with ag designs called Sentiment Flags!
Get ready to play! One LUCKY WINNER will be chosen from this week's Throwdown's participants to receive a Sentiment Flag die and stamp set. And to show you even MORE love and FREE a die and stamp set, click on over to my shop blog for a chance to win there as well!! YAY!
Sentiment Flags is a die with a ribbon-tail end perfect for adding cute little sentiment panels to all your paper crafting projects. But why stop there? Together with ag designs we created a coordinating stamp set to *dress up* the Sentiment Flags die. The stamp set contains 5 fun borders and 5 uniquely-fonted sentiments as well as a cutey flag pole stamp to bring your sentiment to the center stage.
Let's have a look at the yummy colors for today...

And here is how I put these colors together with Sentiment Flags...

Card One:

In the interest of keeping today's long post as short and sweet as possible, I will direct you to the ingredients list at the bottom of this post, but will mention a couple of goodies. Here I used my Sentiment Flags die with kraft paper and stamped the fun dotted-line border in Elegant Eggplant ink and the Happy Birthday sentiment in Perfect Plum ink. I just LOVE how Sentiment Flags can finish off a project! I love love love the kraft flag. Also, you'll notice a parcel tag and some baker's twine which I will also link to in the ingredients section.

Card Two:

This might be my favorite of the two because I've used Sentiment Flags in a totally new way by making the flags into a banner. It was really easy to do. I die cut 4 Sentiment Flags and stamped each with the polka-dotted border and cut them down a bit and added my HB2U sentiment from some purple sticky letters I've had hanging around forever. I added a top border to each using a small scallop border die(MFT) and tied them together with some of my new baker's twine and a couple of purple buttons I've also had forever. I couldn't resist using kraft banners again. I just love the way they look with the purple ink. This is also a special card because it uses these cutey bunny and gift images from Chicken Girl Designs available at I Heart Papers from a set called Best Wishes.

Sentiment Flags die and stamp set are each made by the leading manufacturers in the USA and if you purchase dies and clear stamps from popular online retailers you are already familiar with the quality. It was my goal to bring you only the best products available. That's so important to me.

Sentiment Flags retails in my shop for $15 plus s&h. Click HERE to get to the shop and then use the Add to Cart button to make your purchase securely via PayPal or major credit card. I hope I've intrigued you with Sentiment Flags and hope you will click on over to the store to have a better look. Please also feel free to browse my recent posts here on my design blog as I've been using lots of Sentiment Flags to give you lots of inspiration.

BIG THANKS to my design team friends for supporting me! Your support and encouragement means the world to me. THANK YOU! Please visit their blogs for more FABULOUS inspiration using today's colors and Sentiment Flags!
