Happy Birthday, Tammy!
Wow, today is a special day! It's the super awesome Tammy Hershberger's birthday and a few of us got together to celebrate with a big ol' birthday blog hop for her!!!! A few week's ago Bar sent me a message about her brilliant hop idea and I'm so happy to be able to participate and celebrate Tammy's day.
Let me just tell you how fortunate I have been to become friends with Tammy. Way back in 2008, I joined SCS for the first time. Tammy's Anniversary Birds card (HERE) was one of the first of hers I ever saw. It inspired me to be a better stamper and I quickly became a gallery stalker. Over the years we've chatted back a forth a bit and became friends.
Tammy is the number one reason I've had so many wonderful stamping opportunities; The Color Throwdown Challenge, Chicken Girl Design Team, Flourishes Guest Designer. It was all made possible because of Tammy. I would not have had these opportunities without this lovely lady looking out for me and for providing her constant support and today is the day to tell her how much I appreciate her friendship!!!
Now that I've had my little heartfelt moment, let's get to the fun!!!! If you happen to get lost along the way, you can head back to the amazing Barbara Anders' blog. She has the entire blog hop list for today.
Here is the card I designed especially with Tammy in mind...
I had a little helpful inspiration from My Favorite Things: both the MFTGUESTDT0311 to add *die-mension* to your design and the MFTWSC8 sketch inspired me. I tried to add as much dimension as I could possibly think of. Even her little head is popped up! I used a couple of MFT products and then tried to incorporate similar products MFT sells, like the button dies and the frame dies, wherever I could in keeping with the sketch and trying not to over do it. Here are a couple of other detail shots as well as the inside....
I hope Tammy likes it! It's on its way to her door as we speak! Want to see some more fun creations? Hop on over to Lynda Benden's blog and check out what she made for Tammy's surprise hop!
Tammy my friend, have a wonderful and fun day!!! And a special thanks to Barbara Anders to organizing this special celebration!
Thank you to everyone for hopping on by today!
