Color Throwdown Day!
Hello! It's time for another Color Throwdown Challenge! This week Danielle is our hostess and she chose an awesome palette of colors for us this week. Have a look...
Look, Ma. No Pinwheels!
The jury is still out on this one. It's definitely growing on me. I feel like this stamp set has been done to death, but I just got it so I'm playing around. It's definitely a little out of my comfort zone so maybe that's why I feel funny about it. Either way, this In Bloom set is gorgeous and so is that sentiment that goes with it. I had to lop off the bottom of this card. I was adding a stick pin to the ribbon when it jabbed me in the finger...and...well....you get the rest of the story! I'm telling ya, I'm literally thinking to myself "get your finger out of the way" and then BOOM! It still happened. Silly girl!
Anywhoo, could you like to play along? Stop by the Color Throwdown blog and read up on how to participate! And don't forget to stop by the blogs of the CTD designers for more inspiration using this week's colors.

Sorry to hear about the injury but you did a fantastic job repairing the card. Hope the finger is healed up well too. Love the pretty yellow accents. The twine in the button is so cute
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing! :)
This is perfect with those colors~!
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about certain sets. I got Roses in Winter recently (OLD!) and would love to play with it without feeling like everything had already been done. I think your card is fresh and smart~!
This is GORGEOUS Laura! Perfectly designed!!!
ReplyDeleteSorry... I'm laughing at your stuck finger! "Get your finger outta' the way, girl!" Bahahahahaha! Are you all better now?
ReplyDeleteThis card R.O.C.K.S., girlfriend! LOVE the pearls, and the scoring, and those gorgeous flowers!
I love this stamp set and your card is very pretty! Love the scattered pearls! Sorry about your finger :(
ReplyDeleteThis is gorgeous, Laura! The pearls are a touch of genius!
ReplyDeleteI love how you used the flower outline stamped in color. Beautiful! And you probably could've left the bottom of the card....would have blended with the rose red, right??
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure why the jury is still out, but they better get back in the courtroom because this card is gorgeous! Sorry to hear about the finger, though. Ow!
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful! I love the stamped flower, and the scattering of pearls is a perfect touch! Great job with the colors! ♥♥♥
