It's Wednesday!

Helloooo!!! It's Color Throwdown Challenge Wednesday! Carole chose this week's colors and when I saw them I squealed! Have a look...

I pulled a Last Minute Laura and didn't make something until Tuesday night so I'm not sure I did my best work for this week. Truth be told, I am having a terrible time managing pain from Ovarian cysts. Who knew those little suckers could be SO painful?! So it's almost two weeks now that I've been in pain every day so I'm just not my best self and it's sapping my mojo a little. So what do you do when you need a little crafty mojo in your life? Well, you use the Mojo Monday Sketch I tell ya!!!! So here is my card using this week's Mojo Monday Sketch # 194 and this week's CTD colors...

I started out by making a flower using a vintage sewing pattern and some flower trip dies from Papertrey Ink. The sewing pattern came directly from my Grammy's basement and she told me that she made this particular suit a bunch of times. I think it's so neat to re purpose things my Gram used! I finished off the center of my flower with a yellow button and some hemp twine. The papers I used are from Pink Paislee's Hometown Summer Collection and OA's Thrift Shop. The sentiment is from the new Rainbow & Clouds sentiment stamp set from Lil' Inker designs.

I hope you like it!

Want to give these colors a try? DO IT! Then upload to your blog or online gallery (keyword CTD145) and directly link it to the CTD blog using the linky tool provided. So easy!

Since I was unable to play last week, I didn't get a chance to welcome June's guestie, the fabulous Betty Wright! Round of applause for this rockstar stamper please!!!! And while your welcoming Betty, please take a few extra minutes to visit the blogs of my fellow friends and design team members. This week's participants are listed below...

Kristin Eberline
Broni Holcombe
