Stamp It! Cards Meets Stamping Royalty Blog Hop

I'm honored today to be part of a hop for a fantastic cause. This year's Stamping Royalty are having a blog hop today to support Operation Write Home, a cause whose mission it is to send handmade cards to troops deployed overseas. As our Independence Day weekend is upon us, I can't think of a better, crafty way to be able to give back.

Each of the Paper Crafts Magazine 2011 Stamping Royalty joined together today to make a new card with a patriotic theme each showcasing a stamp set from our Stamping Royalty prize package which will we then donate to Operation Write Home. The troops then send the handmade cards they receive to their loved ones at home to stay in touch. Isn't that an amazing way to give back? I hope my card will inspire you to donate.

Here is the card I made for today's hop using the What's Cooking set from My Favorite Things who so graciously provided this set to each Stamping Queen's prize package! (Note to self: MUST buy ALL à la modes stamps!)

Participation is easy. Make an all occasion card leaving it blank on the inside and post it to your blog. Then head back over to the Paper Crafts Connection blog and link it there using the linky tool provided. Click HERE to read the details about how to donate your card and maybe even several cards to the Operation Write Home cause.

Because this is also an exciting time with the release of Stamp It! Cards, Vol. 8 you can be sure there will be some exciting prizes to give away as well! Participation is greatly encouraged but not required to win. Leave a comment on the Paper Crafts Connection blog to be entered to win one of two amazing prizes. Each winner will receive a copy of Stamp It! Cards, Vol. 8 and the following prize...

Please also leave a comment here on my blog. I have a copy of Stamp It! Cards, Vol. 8 to give away to one lucky commenter chosen at random.

I told you there's great prizes! All comments here and on Paper Crafts Connection must be received by midnight (MDT) Sunday, July 3rd to be eligible to win.

You can also click HERE to purchase a copy of this jammed packed issue as well! With 300 cards in this issue, how can you go wrong?

For more amazing crafty inspiration to get your mojo ready to make donation cards please hop along and visit the blogs of the Stamping Royalty 2011 Queens. (Seriously, I can't believe I am one of the names on this amazing list of designers.)

Having been crowned one of the Stamping Royalty this year with having only entered one card and never been published before has been INCREDIBLE. I can't think of a more amazing way to give back than knowing that loved ones deployed and those at home can stay in touch because of the love we all have for card making.

Thanks for joining me today!
