OH!!! HIEEEE! I could NOT be more excited to be posting today!!!! Today begins day one of our New Release Hop!!! Each day this week members of our design team will be bringing you inspiring designs featuring our new products. Today and tomorrow we'll be showcasing our FABULOUS new product the Fringe Flower Die. Stay tuned for more new products coming Wednesday and Friday!!!
Today we're bringing you a die that will allow you to add beautiful, FUN flowers to your projects in NO TIME...I give you the Fringe Flower Die! Ta daaaaaaaaa!
This die will cut a long, slitted strip. Fold the strip in half lengthwise and roll for a beautiful, fringe-y flower. Click HERE to be taken to the Fringe Flower Die Tutorial page.
Have a look at what I made to share with you today!
I've found this die to be VERY versatile. What you see here are actually mini versions of the full flower which are just as easy to make. Once you die cut your strip, cut it half and now you can make two flowers from one piece of card stock or felt.
These dies will cut any medium but were designed with felt and paper in mind and my absolute favorite is using the die with felt.
To secure my flower closed and keep it from unravelling I like to use my hot glue gun, but I've also found glue dots to work well as does a pin or even a decorative pin would be so cute!
Would you like some additional details on how this die works? Click HERE to be taken to the Fringe Flower Die tutorial!
Do you LOVE this new die? Oh my gosh I love this die soooo much!!
Here are some other ideas I think would work brilliantly with this die...
Decorative grass border (folded in half and unrolled)
Cut in half down center lengthwise and then folded for a super-fringe flower
Fold in half and run a basting stitch and pull to assemble for a whole new look!
Hop along and see what other brilliant ideas our design team has come up with for our brand new Fringe Flower die and DON'T FORGET...Leave comments along the way on all blogs. There will be THREE randomly chosen winners of a $10 store credit!!! We will announce the winners one week from today.
