Hello! I am back to share a project with you for today's Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge.
Today, Betty is our hostess and she has challenged us to incorporate 3 or more decorative papers in our design. I also created for the Stamp It! Techniques Stamping With Markers challenge over in the Moxie Fab World. I thought it would be perfect for the challenge as I stamped and colored two of the three background panels with Copics! Here's what I created....
I knew I wanted to make some decorative paper of my own by using some of the stamps from the Love Notes stamp set which is one of my favorite new sets! I first stamped the multi-hearts image from the set repeatedly on kraft paper and colored them with Copic markers. Then I stamped a sentiment from the set repeatedly in Real Red ink and thought it would match my hearts paper just a bit better by adding in on of the musical love notes from the set. I cut my paper into thirds and layered them on A Real Red mat and separated the images with some stitching.
The I worked on my focal image. I stamped, colored and cut out the guitar and tambourine images from the set. I added some spica glitter pen and I used a silver metallic paint pen on some of the details that I thought would be chrome or metal on the real thing. It added a neat effect. I then added my instruments to the Fleurette I made.
I anchored everything to my design with a double-ended banner and added in a little heart punch out accented with a button and twine and some tiny silver pearls. For some added visual interest, I layered this entire panel to an offset sized base with some polka dot paper poking out on each side.

Paper: Kraft(PTI), Real Red, Basic Black(SU!), Circa(Cosmo Cricket)
Ink: Brilliance Graphite Black, Real Red(SU!), metallic silver paint pen, Spica gel pen
Accessories: double ended banner die, button(PTI), three hearts punch, hemp twine(SU!), silver pearls(AC Moore), sewing machine, corner rounder(Marvy)
