Color Throwdown #156!

Well thank goodness for the Color Throwdown. I have been so busy as of late I am barely stamping so having the CTD is keeping me in check! I could have EASILY flopped on the couch instead of crafting, LOL. DO you get like that sometimes?

I am the hostess at the Color Throwdown this week and I chose these colors to work with...



And here's what I made....



My card was inspired by THIS ONE by Debby Hughes which I love so much! I not only made this card for this week's CTD but I've also made it for this week's CAS-ual Friday Challenge #16

as well as for the Square Sketch Challenge in the Moxie Fab World using this sketch celebrating Card Ideas week:


As you can see, I heat embossed my sentiment "congratulations" from the Rainbows & Clouds stamp set from Lil' Inker Designs for the CAS-ual Friday challenge and I incorporated the focal image of the sketch from Moxie Fab World by punching out circles using a 1 inch punch and 3/4 punch from paper scraps. This is the PERFECT way to use scraps. My kraft scrap was stamped with a text background in plum ink before punching and I added in a few rhinestones for bling!
