Morning!

Ok, so it's almost afternoon! I'm stopping by with a very quick post today showing you one way you can use Sentiment Flags to make cutey lil' Christmas Trees!
Have a peek...

I started by cutting 5 Sentiment Flags from green felt and made my tree's branches by layering them together and tying them off with some baker's twine from the Twinery(It's hands down the best I've ever used; brightly colored and thicker than most, YUM and comes in TONS of happy and fun colors). It was pretty easy to make my tree actually. Then I made a star topper for my tree (with the exclamation point from an alphabet die I have) added a button and some new sparkle baker's twine I found on ETSY at the $5 French Market which I LOVE LOVE LOVE. I added my branches and topper to a Popsicle stick and covered the bottom of the stick with cork paper for the tree bark.

I put everything together using today's Sketch For You To Try from Jen del Muro along with some Cosmo Cricket Mitten Weather papers(my fave holiday papers) which I got at I Heart Papers and a few extra fun little details like the hand sewn linen thread border and the folded paper border which I then cut using my scallop die from MFT.

Hope you like it! It was really fun to make! Make one of your own! You can buy my Sentiment Flag die by itself for only $5 plus s&h or for $15 together with it's coordinating stamp set which has some really fun borders, sentiments and a flag pole for extra fun. Check out using the Add to Cart button at the top right of this page.

Have a great weekend!!
Thanks for stopping by!
