Color Throwdown #101

Hi! I am so honored to be kicking off the next 100 challenges as your hostess this week at the Color Throwdown!!! Let's get right down to business shall we? Here are your colors for this week:
Several weeks ago, was searching for inspiring colors for today's challenge. That's when I stumbled upon THIS card from Amy Sheffer. I was reminded of how I loved using this combo in the past and decided to dust off my Urban Oasis paper from Stampin' Up!

Here are a couple of cards I have for you today:

This card is fresh and new for you today. I wanted to something clean and graphic with these colors and I've had this brad lying around that I've been dying to use. I think it works well here.
My second card today is actually a CASE of my own work from a while ago, but today I added in some stitching, shading on my flowers with a T1 Copic as well as some sparkle from my crystal Spica gel pen.

Wow, what a week for me.....the 100th challenge, wedding rehearsal dinner, wedding, fridge died, getting new one TODAY, terrible two's in full effect!!! My head is spinning! But as crazy as this week was I had a BLAST at the wedding and it was really nice to get away and the 100th challenge was so much fun!

OMG! It's The 100th Color Throwdown Challenge Celebration!!!!!

It's here! It's here!! I can't believe it! If you're stopping by today, you're in for a real treat. Today is the 100th Color Throwdown Challenge celebration! What makes it a celebration, you ask? Well, since it's #100 we thought we would ask a few of our friends and most favorite companies to donate some prizes to give to you as a way of saying "THANKS FOR PLAYING" with us all these weeks! Both cards are made using images from Chicken Girl Designs exclusively available at I {Heart} Papers. Card 1 uses images from the set called Birthday Wishes and Card 2 uses the Kitty Cake digi image and a sentiment from the Birthday Wishes set.

Getting Ready for the Big Celebration, CTD #100!!

Are you ready for a celebration? The Color Throwdown team will be celebrating Challenge #100 on Wednesday, July 7th, so we're planning a party and we want you to be there!
