10% Off Sale Continues & A Baby Project

Good morning and happy Sunday!!!! What's new??? I've been busy here at the house working tons from home and taking care of Little Keith who will be 2 in a couple of weeks and is already acting like he's 2. Poor little guy had a nightmare the other night, woke up screaming AND (so sad) fell out of his crib for the first time. I thought I'd throw up when I saw him on the floor. It was a traumatic night for everyone. I hope that NEVER happens again. Thank goodness we have carpet!
Anywhoo... I had been working on this baby project for some time and finally finished it and am excited to show it to you today. I have made a similar project in the past, but this one is sort of girly and fun and is specifically purple to match baby Cecilia's nursery. So this is for my friend Rachel who is a doll and just had her first, baby Cecilia in November. So better late than never with my gift, right?!
This project features an 8 x 8 shadow box frame which I painted white and filled with all these cute little inchies and features baby's birth info. I love the way it turned out. I hope she loves it too!
On another note, I just sent a submission to become part of the Stamptacular Sunday Challenge design team. SO we'll see!!! Keeping my fingers crossed!
Also, don't forget about my sale through March 31st!!! 10% off all Stampin Up orders placed through me and who doesn't want to save?? Right?? Simply e-mail me your order to lpryor1@hotmail.com.
Thanks everyone for stopping by! Enjoy your day!!

p.s. I will be posting ingredients of this project at a later date and time so I can go and finish cleaning! {sarcastically} "yayyyy"

10% off All Stampin' Up Purchases & a Million Project Pictures!!!

Hello!!! I hope everyone had a fabulous Valentine's Day! I did. Hubby bought me the curtains I've been wanting for our bedroom. Not very romantic to some, but a huge deal to me as we're in our new home and I want to decorate everything. Here is a picture of the card I made for my wonderful guy.
Here is another little card I whipped up yesterday during nap time. I was inspired by one Nichole Heady did on her Papertrey Ink blog using the same vellum paper technique. I had to try myself. And yes, I said PaperTrey Ink! I love Stampin' Up, but I love soooooo many other stamp companies too and just to show you how much this project's sentiment is from PTI! I can do that and still tell you that my SU products are still 10% off.

Well, it's almost bedtime for little man, so I have to sign off. But I have 2 more projects to post coming up; a baby project I finished for baby Cecilia and a shot of my re-decorated guest room using some SU! ribbon to enhance some ordinary pictures from Christmas Tree Shoppe!

10% Off Stampin Up Purchases! Valentine's Cards Full of Happy Accidents

Hello all! As you read a few days ago I decided to extend my 10% off through March 31st which coincides with SU's Sale-a-Bration. Don't forget to e-mail all orders to me at lpryor1@hotmail.com!!
Here are a couple of Valentine's cards I've put together....sometimes I loose my mojo, can you relate? When this happens I like to go back to my SU catties and CASE a project to sort of jump start the creativity process.... As you can see here I've CASE's this "Love U" card from the recent Occasions Mini catalog, but I changed a few things to make it my own. This little card literally made me buy the I {love} Love Jumbo Wheel, a product I almost never buy! I added some punched blue hearts along the bottom and another red strip above to sort of frame it up. Also, I used a chipboard "U" that I sewed a button onto and I changed up the ribbon treatment a bit to make these little flaps.
For my next card, I started by knowing I wanted to make a ribbon skirt. I won't even bore you with how many time I tried and failed at this. I even broke my sewing machine!!! I ended up using double stick Tombo to create this effect. I used the love wheel here again, layered it over my ribbon catastrophe and punched a few small hearts from my three hearts punch and then added the scallop border. Oh and nothing like a slightly crooked rub-on sentiment to tie this disaster together!!! Oh and to make matters worse, some how there was cat hair on my rub-on which permanently stuck itself to my card which I had to go back in and trim away!!! UG!!! The end result isn't all that bad but for a small and simple card MAN was this a mess. I guess that's how it happens sometimes. I think the painter Bob Ross called them "happy accidents". I used to want to stay home from school to watch him and the Price is Right!! Ahhahaha
Anywhoo...I hope you have a lovely Valentine's Day weekend. Please e-mail me your Stampin Up Orders. I will send you an invoice through PayPal so you can have a secure checkout and enjoy 10% off. Don't forget that you can earn a free SAB product for ever $50 you spend so a GREAT, SUPER, FANTASTIC time to make your purchases!!
Love ya!
I'll be back in a day or so with a baby project I've been working on and a couple more Valentine's cards.

10% Off All Stampin' Up & A Birthday Card & Gift Holder

Good morning!! Don't forget to take advantage of my 10% off Stampin' Up sale now through January 31st. E-mail me your order today! And don't forget it's Sale-a-Bration time and for every $50 you spend you get a free SAB item.
I'm showcasing my favorite SAB set today, Happy Moments. This is a fantastic set that can be used for so many different occassions and you can earn it free!
I made this card for my Brother-in-law for his birthday and I liked it so much that I made a gift card holder using the same concepts for my brother's girlfriend. These projects also feature some of the papers from the Good Neighbors 6x6 paper pad which you can also earn for free right now. I'm loving all these colors expecially with Kraft paper. I colored this adorable little gift image with my SU inks and markers and blender pens then used a Copic marker to do some hi-lighting.
I found a template for this gift card holder on Splitcoast Stampers and knew it would be the perfect way to present Kaitlin's coffe card and it was so easy to make. Cut a piece of card stock to 4.25 x 11. On the long side, score it in the middle at 5.5 and then in from each end make scored at 4.25. This will yield a square 4.25 card. Then you have this middle piece where the gift card will be stored. I folded the card in half on the 5.5 score on it's reverse side and lined up a Nesties label die and ran it through my Big Kick. Then I folded the card how I wanted it to be when it's done and used Sticky Strip to hold the flaps together.
I really love how these cards turned out. For questions on the gift card or how you can get all your supplies for 10% off, please e-mail me at lpryor1@hotmail.com.
Thanks for stopping by.

Stampin' Up Purchases 10% Off & Occasions Mini Card

Ok, so I'm a broken record...but I would have killed for a 10% discount on my SU purchase especially during SAB time. So I want to just keep it out there. This off is good until Jan 31st. Please e-mail me your order at lpryor1@hotmail.com and I will send you an invoice through PayPal...easy!
So here is a new card that took me forever and I'm still not that happy with it to be perfectly honest. It started out as something totally different twice and this is what it ended up as. The biggest change I would make would be to stitch around the Cocoa panel as it appears a little plain for me.
Anywhoo.....I really wanted to make something using the new Sweet Pea stitched felt flowers and something from the Sweet Pea designer series paper from the Occasions Mini and SAB.
So I opted not to use my tabletop photo studio tonight and I really do notice a difference in the quality of my photo! I was just lazy honestly. To Do tomorrow: Permanently set up studio in craft room!
Today was a nice day at home with the Keiths. I hope you enjoyed your day too!
Thanks for stopping by!

10% Off Stampin Up Continues & A Valentine's Treat

Good morning! Please click HERE to find out how you can save 10% off your Stampin' Up purchase now through January 31st!

So my huge box of Stampin Up goodies arrived yesterday afternoon and when hubby came home last night I went directly upstairs to get playing! Something I didn't realize about the new clear mount stamp option from Stampin' Up....the new stamp sets come in their own DVD-like case! I love this new option. The best thing about it is that you can store the sets upright like in a bookcase and the title is on the spine of the case. Super space saver!! Love love love! Of course it being Sale-a-bration as well, I stocked up on card stock and buttons and punches, oh my! And it was so worth it because I was eligible to receive all 6 SAB items which are fab! I could go on and on, but I will get to my project!

Ok, so I've been wanting to try my hand at these little sour cream containers for quite some time and I thought Valentine's Day would be perfect! This is such and easy thing to make, nothing hard about it at all. HERE is a link to some great instructions on SplitCoast Stampers. If any of you aren't already members there it's free and it's a priceless resource for stamping addicts like me.

I used this adorable set called Love Bandit as well as my new Sending Love specialty designer series paper both available in the Occasions Mini now through April 30th. I colored the image with Copic Markers and punched it out with my Marvy 3/16ths punch and mounted it on a scallop circle. I then punched out the sentiment with my word window punch, added a silver brad and added a punched heart from my three hearts punch. I added a glue dot to the back and stuck it on my sour cream container which is filled with Cherry Cordial Hershey's Kisses which are amazing!!!!!!

I still haven't had a minute to take the natural light photos with my new tabletop light studio, but I'll get there. Stay tuned as I have a bunch a of birthday cards to make including one for a man and for a two year old. Hope I can make them in time otherwise I'll be busting out the belated happy b-day stamp!!!

Have a great day!

10% Off Stampin' Up! Continues & A New Project

Thank you to those of you who have taken advantage of an additional 10% off their recent Stampin Up! purchase. I'm glad to have been able to make this such a great sale in addition to Sale-a-bration!! Please contact me for more details at lpryor1@hotmail.com. This sale will continue through January 31st! You can read more about my sale and sale-a-bration in my previous post below.

So I made a commitment the other day to take better photos. My first step was to purchase this tabletop light box studio. It was $20 on eBay and I just experimented with it last night. It was really cool and all came in this carrying case which unfolds and voila turns into your studio. It also comes with two lights which you can arrange on either side of your project giving you ample light control and comes with a tripod for super still photos!!

So the pictures of these projects were taken at night on my kitchen table and I have no overhead light there. (Don't even get me started...it' so dark at night in that place in the kitchen...Hubby says we can call an electrician after get our taxes back. Yahoooo). I digress..... What I plan to do is retake these photos today with natural light assistance and take some pictures of the lightbox studio so you can see for yourselves.

In the meantime here is the latest project. During Christmas Bath and Body Works has the best sales and I picked up 8 of these soaps for $20 and they are usually 5 each, so yay. I also picked up a stack of nine pretty little hand towels at TJ Max for $5 and they coordinated with my soaps so I attached one to each.

I used the Stampin' Up Dreams du Jour set (pg 99 IDBC) (currently 10% off if you take advantage of my sale) to create this quick and pretty magnet/tag which I hand water colored using my aqua brush, ink pads and markers all from Stampin' Up! I love to watercolor with the aquabrush because it doesn't make a mess!!! I cut out the design using my circle nesties and mounted it on a scalloped circle and then used some organza ribbon from my stash to top it off.
I rolled the wash cloth and tied it to the soap with some coordinating ribbon from my stash which I got for a dollar and used some gold twine to attach the tag to the gift. All pretty cost effective and now I have a handful of little gifts to pass out when I need them!!!! And the recipient can add my little artwork to their fridge if they like!
Thanks for stopping by today. I will be back later with the natural light and lightbox studio pics I mentioned above and stay tuned as I'm working on some really cute projects for Valentine's Day!
Ingredients all SU unless noted

I'm Now a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator

I just realized that I never formally let the blogging world know that I decided to become a Stampin' Up! Demo. I've mentioned bits and pieces here and there, but never anything official.

Well, it's true. I was buying so much stuff that it became obvious to me that I would benefit from the fabulous discount. I also was intrigued by being able to pre-order new products before they are available to the public and the fab other incentives the SU! offers.

I never thought I would actually want to build this business but because I'm so passionate about stamping I really do. Therefore, I will have to offer YOU an incentive to choose me your demo. So, let me tell you about that...

Right now through March 31st, a customer can choose 1 FREE item from the Sale-a-Bration(SAB) catalog for every $50 they spend which is so awesome!!! So I thought I would offer an additional FREE SAB set of your choice to the first person to place a $50 order through me as a demo. So for $50 you will get 2 free stamp sets! I think that's pretty exciting! Plus I will also send you dsp and ribbon samples from this same catalog. If this 1st customer refers a friend who places an order, they can pick a set too and earn some paper and ribbon samples as well.
