Very Exciting News I've Been Dying To Share!!

This past Tuesday I got a very exciting e-mail from Melissa at Pink Cat Studio...She asked if I would make her a sample for her upcoming Easter Digi release!!! I was so excited I could barely contain myself!
Of course I immediately replied and thanked her profusely for thinking of me and she sent me two adorable images to choose from. I chose this wayyy cute Lily and Chicks Paint an Egg image.

I decided to paper piece Lily's egg to match the designer paper I used as a background, but added hi-lights and shading to make it pop just a bit.
Lily and her chickie friends are layered on a scalloped Vellum circle. I don't use vellum a lot, but I really should because it gives a nice, soft effect.
I added in some accents using my Egg Hunt set from Papertrey Ink which I thought complemented this adorable image very nicely. What do you think? Are you heading over to Pink Cat Studio now to pick up this image? I hope so! This adorable image is available today at Pink Cat Studio in the digi store.Be sure to check out all the other amazing images that were released today!

Have a question about using digital images? Melissa has some great information for you at her digital store as well, but as always, never hesitate to drop me a line! I would love to hear from you.
Oh, I almost forgot...HERE is the blog post announcing the new release and you can see my card next to cards from many incredibly talented designers! I'm so proud!

Very Versatile New Release from Chi Chi Memories

Another fun and very versatile release from Chi Chi Memories! This stamp is called "Wedding Tower". Isn't it cute? I instantly pictured it with sentiments such as "Going To The Chapel" or just simply "Congratulations" and then I realized.....this would be great for a Christening card as well! And since I actually needed a Christening card I decided to pair it with a computer generated sentiment that says " So Very Blessed". There are lots of possibilities with this digital stamp.

I colored my image with Copics and layered it on a chocolate panel and paired it with designer papers from SU's Sweet Pea paper pack which I LOVE LOVE LOVE!! I added a pretty ribbon, some stitching and paper piercing and Ta Da!... a baby boy's Christening card.

Don't forget to visit Natalie at Chi Chi Memories to check out this and other newly released stamps. I think her designs are going to grow wildly popular! She also makes the cutest note pads and stickers and business cards...you name it and Natalie can do it!
Speaking of stickers.....I am planning to make a card very soon with some of Natalie's stickers and I have a set to give away for free to you just for reading my blog and leaving me some love here for me and on the Chi Chi Memories blog too. More about that when the time is right. And stay tuned because the next release will give you baby fever!
Thanks for stopping by today!

My Fabulous Discovery Of The Day - Chi Chi Memories

Hi Everyone! Little Keith was invited to his first neighborhood birthday party for Ethan who will be turning 4. So, of course, I'm making Ethan's birthday card and was feeling in the mood to color up something special for him. I knew I'd need a digital (on demand and fast) image and decided to search the web. I Googled "Birthday Digital Stamps" and wound up stumbling upon the cutest images EVER from Chi Chi Memories.
I bought this Birthday Boy digital set for only $4!!

I mean this is seriously cute, right? I cannot WAIT to get into my craft room to get some color on these images. I plan on pairing this image with this week's Color Throwdown Challenge..
In the meantime I hope you will visit Chi Chi Memories and leave some love for Natalie, the designer of these cute images on her blog And don't forget her to visit her FAB ETSY store where you will seriously drool as I did when I saw the amazing Birdie Brooches she makes. They are just the most darling things ever and I can't wait to own one! That little brown guy with the hot pink wing is mine, Ladies!
Thanks for stopping by all and have a fabulous night!

Happy Birthday Ashley - Last Card for a Bit

Good morning, Everyone. Some of you already know that Keith and I bought a home in Dedham. We're SO excited, but we have so much to do before we can move. Unfortunately, I {think} I'm packing up my crafts today! I'm so sad, but it makes sense because I won't have time to craft AND I won't be tempted to craft when I should be packing.
So here is my last card for a little bit....It's a birthday card for Ashley who's turning 4. Isn't it sweet?
This card features the exciting new digital stamps from Pink Cat Studio. Pink Cat Studio have always had awesome stamps but there's something great about being able to buy these images and get to use them immediately! I love that! This image is Itty Bitty Betty in her ladybug costume which I got for FREE when I purchased her in this same costume holding her Halloween pumpkin. Click on the link above to find out more details.

Our move date is scheduled for November 8th (wow, that seems far away) but between having a yard sale and packing everything up and getting settled in our new home I bet it will fly. Bye for now, but soon I'll be crafting from my very own STUDIO!! Which Keith says is the reason we had to buy a bigger house in the first place! HA!
I will be sure to upload pictures of my new home and studio as soon as it's ready.
See you soon!
