It's Pure Innocence Wednesday!

Hahahahahaha!!! Well, it might as well be for me! I am loving Pure Innocence from My Favorite Things and from digistampcharacters on Etsy and I just can't stop! I think I have a problem and need an intervention and while we're talking intervention lets not forget I need one for my kraft paper addiction too!

It's REALLY Color Throwdown Wednesday and, well....I totally struggled this week with the colors and my design! Back to that in a min....

LeAnne is our hostess this week and she's chosen this pretty palette for us:

Here's my design...

I really don't know why I struggled this week. I love these colors! Well, enough of that. I started by knowing I wanted to use the SCS Fan Club February Sketch Challenge DDSKETCH0211. I knew I wanted to use this PI image as soon as I saw the long rectangle. I think I struggled because I didn't know what on Earth to do with the layers on the card. When in doubt, use glitter! And I did! So I used my score tape to create the two upper line layers...a little inspiration from Dawn McVey's Make It Monday from last week I guess. And for the bottom layer I used my handy dandy double ended banner die.

If you notice, I decided to stamp my background. Sometimes it just feels good to stamp! I love doing this! My background sentiment is from Verve's Love Notes set as is the heart on my banner strip. I added in some stitching, felt, twine, buttons and pretty much called it done!

I hope this inspires you to play along! All you have to do is make a card or paper crafted project and upload it to your online gallery (using keyword CTD131) or to your blog. Then using a direct link to your project, link to the CTD blog using the linky service provided. It's super easy! I can't wait to see what you made with these colors. I always look at someone's and think, "Why didn't I think of that!?"

And before I forget, I forgot to thank Joan Ervin for spending the month of February with us! It was fun having her. For March, help me welcome Keva Brown!! I'm so excited! I love Keva's work! Welcome!!!

Thanks for stopping by!!
